Malaga Philharmonic Announces 2024-25 Season

The Malaga Philharmonic has announced its 2024-25 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances for the season.

The season opens with José María Moreno conducting music by Glinka, Scriabin, and Prokofiev. Pianist Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky and mezzo-soprano María Luisa Corbacho are the soloists. The Coro de Ópera de Málaga joins the concert.

Performance Dates: Sept. 26 & 27, 2024

José María Moreno conducts Beethoven and Bruch with violinist Soyoung Yoon. The concert also includes Beethoven’s Coronation Mass with soloists Berna Perles, Carol García, Antoni Lliteres, and Alfonso Mujica. The Coral Cármina Nova accompanies.

Performance Dates: Dec. 19 & 20, 2024

José María Moreno conducts Faure’s Requiem with Margarita Rodríguez and César San Martín. The program also includes music by Ravel and Saint-Saens with violinist Alexandra Tirsu.

Performance Dates: April 10 & 11, 2025

José María Moreno conducts an all-Wagner program with music from “Der Fliegende Hollander,” “Lohengrin,” “Die Walkure,” and “Götterdämmerung.” Soprano Ángeles Blancas is the soloist.

Performance Dates: June 19 & 20, 2025
