Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Postpones ‘Romeo et Juliette’ Performance

The Maggio Musicale Fiorentino has postponed a performance of Gounod’s “Roméo et Juliette.”

The company announced that the performance on April 30 has been postponed to May 10, 2022.

Ticket holders will be allowed to use their original tickets for the new date or change them for another date. If ticket holders are unable to attend any other date, they will be allowed to receive a credit for another performance or production.

The new production of “Romeo et Juliette” will be conducted by Henrik Nánási and directed by Frederic Wake-Walker. The production will star Juan Diego Flórez, Valentina Naforniță, Evgeny Stavinsky, Alessio Arduini, Ruzil Gatin, and Vasilisa Berzhanskaya.

“Romeo et Juliette” opens on April 27 and will run through May 10, 2022.
