Madison Avenue Baptist Church Invites Partnership Proposals for Madison Sound Music Series

By Afton Wooten

Madison Avenue Baptist Church has opened partnership proposals for its Madison Sounds Music Series.

The initiative extends partnership opportunities to New York’s arts and community 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and individual artists seeking collaboration with Madison Avenue Baptist Church. Madison Sounds welcomes artists from diverse musical backgrounds such as classical, jazz, world music, and pop. Artists chosen for the program will be supported by covering expenses related to event venues, event management, media, and marketing.

“With this exciting program, our goal is to catalyze positive change within the music industry and our community by extending partnership opportunities to the diverse music arts community and emerging music stars. We also aim to alleviate the growing challenges faced by artists and nonprofits, particularly in affording venue rentals and associated expenses,” said Aza Sydykov, Minister of Music of MABC and the Artistic Director of the program, in an official press statement.

Partnership proposals and applications for the 2023/24 calendar will be continuously reviewed. All program events take place in the historic Madison Avenue Baptist Church’s sanctuary.
