Lyric Opera of Kansas City Announces 2026-27 Season

The Lyric Opera of Kansas City has announced its 2026-27 season.

The season opens with Puccini’s masterpiece “La bohème.”

Performance Dates: Sept. 19, 25 & 27, 2026

Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” will be the second opera of the season.

Performance Dates: Nov. 7, 13 & 15, 2026

Gilbert and Sullivan’s ever popular operetta “The Pirates of Penzance” will get a production.

Performance Dates: Feb. 20, 26 & 28, 2027

The season closes with Verdi’s “Aida.”

Performance Dates: April 24 & 30, May 2, 2027

Casts will be announced at a later date.
