Bass Lucas Singer has joined the roster of IMG Artists for general management.

Singer will be represented by Artist Manager Andrew Owens.

The bass began his professional career in the International Opera Studio of Oper Köln and has since performed with the Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Oper Leipzig, Nationaltheater Mannheim, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Theater Basel, Komische Oper Berlin, Staatstheater Saarbrücken, Kölner Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Philharmonie de Paris, Konzerthaus Dortmund, and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.

His diverse repertoire spans Mozart, Wagner, Verdi, Puccini, Monteverdi, Britten, and contemporary works.

In a statement Singer said, “I’m really looking forward to this collaboration! Over the years, I’ve built up a wide repertoire in both opera and concert, so I’m especially happy to partner with IMG Artists. I know I’m in the best hands with Andrew, a specialist both on and off the stage. Wishing us both a great start and a productive future.”

Owens added, “I first heard Lucas while attending the performance of another client. I was immediately struck by the authority with which he sang and just the overall quality of his instrument, a true basso if ever there were one. He’s an artist of quality and intelligence and, like me, a fanatic for healthy vocalism. I know this collaboration will be both exciting and productive.”
