Lucas Meachem, Arturo Chacón-Cruz Headline LAO At Home’s Program Starting April 20

LA Opera has announced the slate for its LAO at Home program for the week starting on April 20, 2020.

The week kicks off with tenor Arturo Chacón-Cruz providing a living room recital in both English and Spanish. The recital kicks off at 4 p.m. PDT.

On Tuesday, the company is providing Opera Family Time with soprano soprano Jamie Chamberlin Granner and tenor Nathan Granner as the duo performs lullabies and other peaceful tunes. The showcase kicks off at 1 p.m. PDT.

On Wednesday, April 22 at 5 p.m. PDT, the company will open up its vault of past performances to showcase the Song from the Uproar from “Breaking the Waves” by Missy Mazzoli and Royce Vavrek.

Finally, the company will present another room recital on Friday, April 24, 2020 to close out the week. Starting at noon PDT, this recital will be headlined by baritone Lucas Meachem in which he will sing his favorite arias and songs.
