On September 27, 2020, the Merola Opera Program’s new Virtual Recital Series is set to kick off with a concert starring Lucas and Irina Meachem, titled “I Left My Aria in San Francisco.”

A 2003 alumnus of the esteemed opera program, Lucas will perform several musical numbers that have been featured on his appearances in San Francisco. These selections include “Deh, vieni alla finestra” from “Don Giovanni,” Mein Sehnen, mein Wehnen” from “Die Tote Stadt,” Onegin’s aria from “Eugene Onegin,” among many others.

Irina Meachem will accompany at the piano.

Tickets for the event begin at $25 for individuals and $40 for households. There will also be a limited number of $80 VIP tickets which include access to a virtual reception with the two artists after the showcase.
