The Bavarian Radio Symphony has announced its 2023-24 season. Here are the vocal performances.

Sir Simon Rattle conducts Haydn’s “The Creation” with Lucy Crowe, Benjamin Bruns, and Christian Gerhaher.

Sir Simon Rattle and the Bavarian Radio Chorus perform Berio and Vito Zuraj. 

Performance Date: Oct. 13, 2023

Constantinos Carydis conducts Louise Alder in a program that will include music by Nikos Skalkottas, Joseph Canteloube, Toru Takemitsu, and Ottorino Respighi.

Sir Simon Rattle conducts Mozart’s “Idomeneo” with Andrew Staples, Magdalena Kožená, Elsa Dreisig, Sabine Devieilhe, Linard Vrielink, and Tareq Nazmi.

Sir Simon Rattle conducts Allan Clayton in Schubert’s “Winterreise.”

Emmanuelle Haïm and Lenneke Ruiten perform Händel and Purcell.

François-Xavier Roth conducts Georg Nigl, Dirk Rothbrust, and Antoine Tamestit in a program of music by Elisabeth Ogonek, Iannis Xenakis, and Francesco Filidei.

Sir Simon Rattle conducts Schönberg’s “Gurre-Lieder” with soloists Stuart Skelton, Dorothea Röschmann, Jamie Barton, Josef Wagner, and Peter Hoare.

Sir Simon Rattle conducts Zemlinsky, Mahler, and Hindemith. Lester Lynch is the soloist.
