Los Angeles Philharmonic Cancels Performances Following Devastating Wildfires
By David SalazarThe Los Angeles Philharmonic has released a statement in light of the devastating wildfires spreading throughout the Pacific Palisades.
The organization noted that it would be canceling performances through this weekend and would inform ticketholders about their options.
“Our hearts are with all the members of our community who are impacted by the fires, and our immense gratitude goes out to all first responders who are tirelessly working to protect us. Please stay safe,” the statement concludes.
Multiple fires have spread throughout Los Angeles County, leading to evacuations after over 1,300 structures were destroyed. Per CBS News, five people have died and over 30,000 residents have fled.
