Los Angeles Opera Unveils 2024-25 Legacy Ambassadors

The Los Angeles Opera has announced its Legacy Ambassadors for 2024-25.

Here is a rundown of the Ambassadors:

– Lisane Basquiat, founder of Shaping Freedom, co-administrator of the Jean-Michel Basquiat estate
– Ingrid Best, founder of IBest Wines, art collector
– Shanique Bonelli-Moore, chief diversity and social impact officer of the Clorox Company
– Leticia Rhi Buckleychief executive officer of LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes
– Bel Hernandez Castillofounder of Latin Heat Media, a multi-media company
– Wayne Chaney, Jr., pastor of Antioch Church in Long Beach
– Anthony Davenport, founder of Regal Credit Management
– Regina Owens Dillard, retired navigation programs director for Raytheon Intelligence & Space
– Jaime Dominguez, head of school at Oakwood School
– Chad Easterling, CEO of Obsidianworks, former Nike executive

“Our Legacy Ambassadors have become powerful allies in forging deep and empathetic connections between and among our city’s many diverse communities,” said Christopher Koelsch, LA Opera’s president and CEO, in an official press release. “By using their powerful voices to connect with potential audience members, these highly accomplished leaders are playing an essential role in the company’s commitment to making the arts accessible and welcoming to one and all.”
The Los Angeles Opera recently opened its new season with its production of “Madama Butterfly.” That will be followed up by a production of “Romeo and Juliet” in November.
