The Los Angeles Opera is set to continue its 2022-23 season with a concert showcase of Händel’s “Solomon.”

Led by Harry Bicket, the concert will star Ann Hallenberg in the title role alongside Elena Villaón, Niamh O’Sullivan, James Way, Brandon Cedel, and Miah Persson. They will be joined by The English Concert and The Clarion Choir.

Bicket is making his return to LA after presenting “Alcina” back in 2021.

The concert version of “Solomon” is set for March 10, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. local time. It will be performed in English with projected supertitles.

In addition to “Solomon,” the company is set to present “Moses,” followed by productions of “Pelléas et Mélisande,” “Otello,” and a concert featuring Renée Fleming.
