Los Angeles Master Chorale Installs Five New Board Members

The Los Angeles Master Chorale has announced the appointment of five new members to the board of directors, with the mission of sharing the spectrum of choral music with the broadest possible audience.

“We are excited to welcome Miles Benickes, Ann Graham Ehringer, Lorna Fitzgerald, Emory Ron Myrick, and Lisa Richardson to the dedicated Master Chorale board of directors. Their wealth of experience and commitment to the arts will be invaluable to the entire organization,” said Philip A. Swan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, in an official press statement.

Miles Benickes has worked for 43 years in the financial services industry. He and his wife were the founder and co-chair of the CTG Artists and Educators Forum, an advocacy group dedicated to encouraging new work and engaging new audiences.

Ann Graham Ehringer has 24 years of experience in private and public companies, has served as a university professor, and has a doctorate in administration. She holds a second Ph.D. in business, an MA in arts and education, and a BA in art history.

Lorna Fitzgerald, Ph.D., has held various leadership positions in the technology industry. She has held research, market communications, and brand management positions at IBM, Toshiba, Xircom, and others. She has taught undergraduate and postgraduate college.

Emory Ron Myrick joins the Los Angeles Master Chorale Board as a passionate supporter of the Chorale.

Lisa Richardson holds a BA in English and studied Literature. As a journalist for many years with the Los Angeles Times, Richardson worked as a news reporter and writer for state, local, national, and international affairs.
