
Los Angeles Children’s Chorus Unveils Holiday 2025 Program

The Los Angeles Children’s Chorus (LACC) has announced its slate of holiday performances.
The ensemble’s Winter Concerts take place on Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Pasadena and on Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. at Pasadena Presbyterian Church. They feature more than 400 singers from six LACC ensembles.
The Dec. 6 program includes the Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, led by Artistic Director Fernando Malvar-Ruiz; the Intermediate Choir, led by Associate Artistic Director Fred Meads; and the Young Men’s Ensemble, conducted by Eric Lifland.
Meanwhile, the Dec. 7 performance features the Concert Choir, Apprentice Choir, and Chorale, conducted by Malvar-Ruiz and Meads.
Moreover, 16 choristers will also perform in LA Opera’s production of Puccini’s “La Bohème, ” directed by Brenna Corner and conducted by Resident Conductor Lina González-Granados. Performances are scheduled for Nov. 22 through Dec. 14, 2025, with a cast starring Janai Brugger, Oreste Cosimo, Erica Petrocelli, and Gihoon Kim.
Finally, LACC concludes its holiday season with three appearances in the Pasadena Symphony’s “Holiday Candlelight” concerts on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at All Saints Church in Pasadena. Led by conductor Larry Blank, the program includes such artists and ensembles as Sarah Uriarte Berry, the Donald Brinegar Singers, the JPL Chorus, and the LA Bronze Handbell Ensemble.
