The Los Angeles Children’s Chorus (LACC) will present its annual Spring Concert on two consecutive Sundays, May 10 and May 17, 2026, at Pasadena Presbyterian Church.
Approximately 400 choristers drawn from six of LACC’s ensembles will take the stage across the two evenings. The May 10th program, which falls on Mother’s Day, features the Apprentice Choir, Intermediate Choir, and Chorale, while the May 17th concert showcases the Concert Choir, Young Men’s Ensemble, and Chamber Singers.
The programming features works by Bach, Verdi, Rachmaninoff, Händel, Schubert, and Allister MacGillivray alongside folk traditions from around the world.
Artistic Director Fernando Malvar-Ruiz conducts the Chamber Singers, Chorale, and Concert Choir; Fred Meads leads the Intermediate Choir; and Eric Lifland directs both the Apprentice Choir and the Young Men’s Ensemble.
LACC traces its origins to 1986 and in the four decades since, the organization has grown into one of the world’s leading youth choral institutions, serving more than 500 children ages 6–18 from over 40 communities across Southern California.
Both concerts kick off at 7 p.m. local time.
