Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra to Present ‘Bach + Burton’

Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra has announced that bass-baritone Dashon Burton will headline its February concerts “Bach + Burton.”

The events, slated for Feb. 3 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and on Feb. 4 at The Huntington, will center on music by Bach. Among the works on the program is “Ich Habe Genug.” There will also be two concertos and Orchestral Suite No. 1 in C Major.

Concertmaster / Director of Chamber Music Margaret Batjer will lead the program.

Burton has performed with such companies as the Cleveland Orchestra, Milwaukee Symphony, Houston Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony, the New World Symphony, and the San Diego Symphony, among others.

The program will be presented in memory of Warner Henry with support from The Henry Family.
