
L’Opéra de Paris Announces Young Audiences & Families Programming for 2026-27
By Afton MarkayL’Opéra de Paris shares its lineup for Young Audiences and Families this 2026-27 season.
Throughout the season, L’Opéra de Paris will present several performances and initiatives to welcome young people, families and new audiences. Programming includes opera, dance, choir, and instrumental music. L’Opéra de Paris will also offer adapted pricing and digital content designed to extend the experience.
Among classical voice events are “Et Op!” designed for children six months to three years. Performers featured are mezzo-soprano Mathilde Rossignol, baritone Aurélien Gasse, and members of the de l’Orchestre de l’Opéra de Reims. They perform familiar arias and rediscovered music. Performance Dates: Oct. 3-6, 2026
“A suspended moment with Bob Chilcott” is presented by soprano Constance Malta-Bey, mezzo-soprano Laure Marchetti, alto Sophie Van de Woestyne, and pianist Frédéric Guieu.
Performance Dates: Oct. 8-10, 2026
“Tell me about Carmen” features mezzo-soprano Marine Chagnon, tenor Yu Shao, and baritone Ihor Mostovoi. Yoan Héreau joins at the piano. Isabelle Briard conducts.

Young singers from the Paris Opera Choir present “Snowflakes” under the direction of Morgan Jourdain.
Performance Dates: Jan. 14 & 15, 2027
Soprano Lisa Chaïb-Auriol is joined by double bassist Sulivan Loiseau and pianist Yoan Héreau in a concert of works by Florence Price.
Performance Dates: Feb. 26 & 27 * March 1, 2027
The Paris Opera Choir presents the concert, “Spells.” Morgan Jourdain directs.
Performance Date: March 25, 2027
The Paris Opera Children’s Choir present Pascal Neyron’s new staging of “Sleeping Beauty” by Carl Reinecke. Morgan Jourdain conducts.

“Airs d’opéra et mélodies” is presented by artists in residence.
