Liv Redpath to Highlight Pittance Chamber Music’s ‘Liv a Little’ Concert

Pittance Chamber Music will present “Liv a Little” with soprano Liv Redpathon Jan. 11, 2020 at Barrett Hall at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music.
The concert, which will also feature clarinetist Stuart Clark, pianist Paul Floyd, violinist Ana Landauer, violnist Grace Oh, violist Shawn Mann, and cellist John Waltz.
Redpath will perform Schubert’s “Shepherd on the Rock” as well as Eight Lieder by Mendelssohn for soprano and String Quartet. There will also be a performance of Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet, Op. 115.
Redpath is coming off performances of “Ariadne auf Naxos” with the Cincinnati Opera. In 2020, she will be appearing in “Les Huguenots” with the Deutsche Oper Berlin, “San Giovanni Battista” with Opera Omaha, and “Armida” with the Bregenzer Festspiele.
She has worked with such renowned conductors James Conlon, Plácido Domingo, William Christie, James Levine, Emmanuel Villaume, James Gaffigan, Stephen Lord, Bramwell Tovey, and Matthew Aucoin, as well as stage directors Francesca Zambello, Paul Curran, Ed Berkeley, James Robinson, Tim Albery, and Mark Lamos, among others.
