little OPERA theatre of ny to Present ‘Mozart & Friends’

The little OPERA theatre of ny has announced that it will be presenting “Mozart & Friends,” a live stream pop-up concert on July 9, 2020 at St John’s in the Village.

The concert will feature performances from tenor Kameron Ghanavati, tenor Rufus Müller, mezzo-soprano Heather Johnson,  music director Elliot Figg, pianist Catherine Miller, violinist Manami Mizumoto, and cellist Syndey ZumMallen as they take on music from Mozart’s “The Shepherd King,” as well as from Handel’s “Xerxes” and “Jephtha.” There will also be music by Rameau and Chevalier de Saint-Georges.

Those who want a more immersive experience can purchase a VR headset with their tickets; the company will send the headset directly to the homes of ticket buyers.
