U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was recently featured on SiriusXM’s Met Opera Radio as a special guest.

While the special, entitled “A Love Supreme: Ruth Bader Ginsburg On Opera,” premiered on March 9, 2020, audiences can still get a chance to hear it throughout the week. There will be an airing on March 10 at 6 p.m. ET; on Wednesday March 11 at 3 p.m. ET; on Saturday March 14 at 12 a.m. ET and 9 a.m. ET; and finally, on Sunday, March 15 at 12 p.m. ET.

Throughout the special, Ginsburg highlights her favorite operas and comments on their importance to her life.

“My passion for opera began in 1944,” Ginsburg told SiriusXM host Julie James during the special.  “I was 11 and my aunt, who taught English in a middle school in Brooklyn, New York, took me to a high school where there was an abbreviated performance of La Gioconda … I was just blown away by it. I’d never heard such glorious music.”
