Lise Davidsen has announced two Christmas Arena concerts.

The soprano will perform at the Stavanger’s DNB Arena on Dec. 2 and Oslo’s Spektrum on Dec. 5.

For the concert in Oslo Spektrum she will be joined by both the Norwegian Broadcasting Orchestra (KORK) and Solistkoret Ung, while in Stavanger she will be joined by the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and Solistkoret Ung. The shows will be conducted by Grete Pedersen and her special guest at both concerts is pianist Leif Ove Andsnes.

In a statement the soprano said, “It is a really big deal to have a Christmas concert in Spektrum and DNB Arena, but I’m really looking forward to it. I think making Christmas music with Grete, KORK, the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and Solistkoret Ung will be wonderful. Christmas is a great time to go to a concert, and I hope that many people will take the trip and get in to the Christmas spirit with us.”

Daviden released her acclaimed Christmas in Norway album in 2023 in which she recorded with the Kringkastingsorkesteret (KORK).
