The Richard Tucker Foundation has announced its lineup for its 2018 gala concert celebrating Christian Van Horn’s recent Richard Tucker Award.

The gala will see previous Richard Tucker winners Christine Goerke, Angela Meade, Nadine Sierra, Stephanie Blythe, and Michael Fabiano showcase their talents.

Additionally, superstars Anna Netrebko, Javier Camarena, and Yusif Eyvazov will participate in the event. The starry lineup will be led by conductor Marco Armiliato, the New York Choral Society, and members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.

Earlier this year Christian Van Horn was announced as the Richard Tucker Award winner. The award came with a $50,000 cash prize and the gala concert, which he will headline. Van Horn became the first bass-baritone to win the award since 2003 when bass John Relyea was the winner. He is only the third of his vocal fach to achieve the feat.

The gala concert is set to be held on Oct. 21, 2018.
