The George and Nora London Foundation is set to open its 2023-24 season with a recital by 2020 George London Award winner mezzo-soprano Lindsay Kate Brown.

The recital entitled, “Serenading the Hours: A Day to Night Recital,” will be held on Oct. 22, 2023 at the Morgan Library and Museum and will showcase Brown in two thematic halves, “Day” and “Night.” Pianist Alex Munger will perform alongside the mezzo in works by Tchaikovsky, Jennifer Higdon, Alma Mahler, Joseph Marx, Barber, and Berg.

Brown was recently a member of the Houston Grand Opera Studio and an Apprentice Artist at Santa Fe Opera. She has also performed with teh Tri-Cities Opera and Wolf Trap Opera.
