Lincoln Center to Stream Free Holiday Concert from Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens
By David SalazarAudiences at Lincoln Center will be able to stream a unique concert experience on Dec. 1, 2022.
The showcase will feature the Christmas World of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens, including a lighting ceremony and concert, live streamed to a 50-foot digital wall in the main lobby of the new David Geffen Hall.
The showcase will feature such ensembles as the Greek National Opera’s Children’s Chorus and Marina Satti’s female choir Chórεs. Audiences will hear a number of holiday favorites including “Rocking around the Christmas Tree,” “Dancing Queen,” “Feliz Navidad.” Young People’s Chorus of New York artistic director Francisco J. Núñez conducts.
The event is free for all New Yorkers.
