The Limak Philharmonic Orchestra is set to present “Enchanting Melodies of the Mediterranean” at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona on Oct. 30, 2024.

The performance will be led by Francesco Ivan Ciampa as he showcases the talents of tenor Murat Karahan and soprano Sara Blanch.

“This concert celebrates our shared Mediterranean heritage and the time-honored musical traditions of Türkiye and Spain,” said Ebru Özdemir, Chairwoman of Limak Group, per an official press release. “The strength of these cultural ties is what unites us in diversity, demonstrating that our similarities will always transcend our differences. This initiative reflects Limak’s commitment to Barcelona, Catalonia, and its rich culture, as well as our dedication to making a positive impact globally.”

Proceeds from the performance will benefit Global Engineer Girls, which aims to increase female representation in STEM Fields. The organization offers a wide range of opportunities to women engineering students in Türkiye, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
