The Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, Spain has postponed baritone Leo Nucci and bass-baritone Erwin Schrott’s concert.

The event, which was scheduled for Nov. 11, 2021, was postponed for undisclosed reasons and has not been rescheduled at this time.

Nucci and Schrott were supposed to perform music by Giuseppe Verdi with Jordi Bernàcer set to conduct the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana.

Nucci is slated to sing one performance in the role of Giorgio Germont in Verdi’s “La Traviata” at the Bayerische Staatsoper in June 2022, alongside Lisette Oropesa and Stephen Costello. The baritone recently sang a run of “La Traviata” at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

Schrott is scheduled to appear as Dulcamara in Donizetti’s “L’elisir d’amore” at the Wiener Staatsoper in November and December 2021, before reprising the role at the Bayerische Staatsoper in December 2021.
