
Lehman Center for the Performing Arts to Spotlight ‘Three Italians Tenors’
By David SalazarLehman Center for the Performing Arts will present “Three Italian Tenors” on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at its home on the campus of Lehman College/CUNY in the Bronx.
Tenors Alessandro Fantoni, Gianni Leccese, and Ugo Tarquini will present “Italia Musica Amore,” a tribute to the legacy of Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Mario Lanza, and Enrico Caruso through original arrangements of beloved Italian opera arias and songs. The concert marks the ensemble’s first North American tour. Fabrizio Mocata accompanies on piano.
Fantoni trained at the Opernhaus Academy in Zürich and has performed principal roles across Europe. Leccese, a student of William Matteuzzi and Leone Magiera, has sung leading roles across Europe and internationally. Finally, Tarquini, trained at the Conservatory Licinio Refice of Frosinone, has performed at major venues in Italy and abroad.
