Leeds Opera Festival Announces 2024 Season

The Leeds Opera Festival has announced its 8th edition which is set to be held between August 17 and Sept. 8, 2024.

The festival is set to present the world premiere of “Sherlock Holmes and The Sign of Four” by Lliam Paterson, performed at Leeds School of Arts. The opera will be directed by David Ward and will be conducted by Ellie Slorach.

“The Book of Eternity” is set to be directed by Jonathan Rainey Reid. The work is an interactive musical mystery for young children touring to libraries in Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, and Kirklees.

Soprano Irene Adler is set to perform a showcase at an event where time runs out in an all-new Escape Game.

The season will also showcase a wide-ranging program of performances, concerts, and events, programmed by our first-ever Guest Artistic Director
