Leah Hawkins, Will Liverman, Paul Appleby, Bryan Wagorn Headline Met Opera’s SummerStage Concert

The Metropolitan Opera has announced a summer recital set for August 8, 2021 at the SummerStage in Central Park.

The showcase, which will start at 7 p.m., will feature soprano Leah Hawkins, tenor Paul Appleby, baritone Will Liverman, and pianist Bryan Wagorn. The soloists will perform a program featuring arias and duets.

Doors open at 5 p.m. but audiences will be able to check out the Rooftop Films Summer Series Films starting at 6 p.m. The two films that will be screened include “Community Gardens” from Lithuania and “The Lamb of God” from Portugal and France.

Audiences will also get a chance to stream the performance via the SummerStageAnywhere official website.
