Leah Crocetto & Russell Braun Highlight Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s 2020-21 Season

The Atlanta Symphony has announced its 2020-21 season.

For this article we will highlight the vocal performances.

Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” will be conducted by Robert Spano with soloists Jessica Rivera, Kelley O’Connor, Thomas Cooley, and Nmon Ford.

Performance Dates: Nov. 19 & 21, 2020

Handel’s Messiah will be conducted by Norman Mackenzie and the ASO Chamber Chorus.

Performance Dates: Dec. 17 & 18, 2020

Robert Spano conducts Lisztomania!, a concert dedicated to the music of Liszt, with pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and tenor Richard Clement.

Performance Dates: Jan. 14 & 16, 2021

Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, “Resurrection” is set to be conducted by Donald Runnicles with soloists Leah Crocetto and Elizabeth DeShong.

Performance Dates: March 18 & 20, 2021

Ronbert Spano conducts Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and Leshnoff’s The Sacrifice of Isaac with soloists James Laing, John Tessier, and Russell Braun.

Performance Dates: April 22 & 24, 2021

Robert Spano and Kelley O’Connor headline Mahler’s Symphony No. 3.

Performance Dates: June 10 & 12, 2021
