Tenor Lawrence Brownlee has announced a new season of his Facebook Live series “The Sitdown with LB.”

This season the tenor will focus on an unfiltered and honest look inside the opera world and will discuss different parts of the industry, ranging from General Directors to Management to PR to Media & Critics and more.

Brownlee will engage in conversation with such distinguished guests as Diane Zola from the Metropolitan Opera; Francesca Zambello from Glimmerglass and Washington National Opera, Anthony Tommasini from The New York Times; and Matthew Horner from IMG Artists, among others.

In a statement Brownlee noted, “For young artists and aspiring opera professionals, the inner workings of the opera industry can seem daunting and impenetrable. With this series, I hope to offer insight into the world of opera that will be both interesting and informational. I am grateful to my incredible colleagues who have agreed to join me on the show, and look forward to the conversations ahead!”
