Ars Lyrica Houston will present an all-French program starring Lauren Snouffer on March 16, 2024.

Entitled “Visions & Reveries,” the event, which will take place at Zilkha Hall at the Hobby Center, will feature two lyrical cantatas by lizabeth Claude Jacquet de la Guerre and Jean-Philippe Rameau, among other works.

Snouffer, who has performed with such organizations as The Royal Swedish Opera, The Cleveland Orchestra, and Houston Symphony, will be joined by such artists as violinist Manami Mizumoto.

“Lauren is one of the finest sopranos of her generation, and it’s always a delight to work with her. Her work this past weekend with the Houston Symphony was gorgeous; I’ve rarely heard the soprano solo in the Brahms Requiem delivered with such sensitivity and style,” said Ars Lyrica Houston’s Artistic Director Matthew Dirst in an official press statement.
