Laura Alonso Padín To Make Her Role Debut In ‘Il Trovatore’

Laura Alonso Padín is set to make her role debut as Leonora in Verdi’s “Il Trovatore.”

The soprano will sing a concert version of the famous romantic opera at the Auditorio de Galicia on Sept. 14, 2018, alongside  Sandra Olivas as Azucena, Alejandro Mariani as Manrico, Nikola Mijailovic as the Conte di Luna, Pablo Atahualpa as Ferrando and Lola Calzada as Inés.

Conductor Michael Köhler will lead the Orchestra and Choirs of PROMOPERA.

Padín is a renowned Spanish soprano who recently made her recital debut at Carnegie Hall where she performed a Spanish program and has toured all year with a program of Spanish music and Zarzuela. Padín recently made her role debut as Cio-Cio Sam in “Madama Butterfly” and is also set to give a recital concert. In the fall she also gives masterclasses in Hamburg as well as a gala concert. She closes the year with a New Years gala in Leipzig.
