The Bruce Museum and Divaria Productions are set to present “Labor in Opera: An Original Operatic Experience” on Oct. 26.

The concert will feature dramatic baritone Daniel Sutin, soprano Ashley Galvani Bell, and pianist Christine Sutin. Together they will present a program celebrating the “beauty of labor in opera through the context of Italian verismo.” The performers will offer up arias from the verismo period showcasing opera characters who represent every day life and laborers.

The event take place in connection with the exhibit, “The Art of Work: Painting Labor in Nineteenth Century Denmark.” This exhibit runs through Nov. 30.

“Labor in Opera” will take place from 2 – 3:30 p.m.
