After a successful premiere last season the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca has announced Puccini’s “La fanciulla del West” will return to its stage on Oct. 27 and 29.

Soprano Gabriëlle Mouhlen sings the role of Minnie with tenor Daniel Magdal as Dick Johnson/Ramirez. Baritone and the company’s General Manager Florin Estefan plays the sheriff. Cristian Mogoșan, Petre Burcă, Mihai Damian, Eusebiu Huțan, Cristian Hodrea, Sebastian Balaj, Tiberiu Szasz, Florin Pop, David Pogana, Corneliu Huțanu, Simonfi Sandor, Andrada Ioana Roșu-Vaida, Marius Aron, Ionuț Bogdan Lupu, and Andrei Toader are also among the cast.

David Crescenzi conducts the orchestra, chorus, and ballet ensemble of the Romanian National Opera.

Each performance begins at 6:30 pm and includes two intermissions.
