On Dec. 4, the Teatro Golden di Livorno, Italy is set to present Vivaldi’s “La costanza trionfante, RV 706-A.”

The new rediscovered work by the Italian composer will be performed by Carlotta Colombo, Cecilia Molinari, and Valentino Buzza. They will be accompanied by Modo Antiquo under the direction of Federico Maria Sardelli.

The work will be part of the new Festival di Musica Barocca Hortus Harmonicus, which will be held from Dec. 14 to 18, 2025.

“La costanza trionfante” was written in 1716, the same year of the composer’s famed “Juditha Triumphans.”

In a statement regarding the work Sardelli said, “This is one of those performances to mark on your calendar.”
