Kristine Opolais, Cristina Gallardo-Domâs & Artur Ruciński Highlight Week 3 of Palau de Les Arts’ Streaming

The Palau de les Arts in Valencia continues streaming platform for the third straight week with a new set of operas.

The week begins on April 14 with Manuel de Falla’s “La vida breve conducted by Lorin Maazel, the company’s first music director. The recording marks the only video recording with Maazel and showcases a production by Giancarlo del Monaco starring Jorge de León and Cristina Gallardo-Domâs. The production begins at 20:00 local time.

On April 16, the company will showcase Berlioz’s “Les Troyens conducted by Valery Gergiev and starring Lance Ryan, Daniela Barcellona, Elisabete Matos, Gabriele Viviani, Giorgio Giuseppini, Stephen Milling, and Eric Cutler. The production begins at 18:00 local time.

Finally to close out the week the Palau will present Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin” on April 18 at 20:00. Omer Meir Wellber conducts the production starring Artur Ruciński, Kristīne Opolais, Dmitry Korchak, Lena Belkina, and Günther Groissböck. The production is by Mariusz Treliński.
