Under the leadership of Director and Artistic Director Choi Sang-ho, the company and members of the National Opera’s Youth Educational Troupe will present concerts in New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Ottawa, Canada. The tour runs Oct. 4 – 16.

Special engagements on the tour include the opening performance of the 52nd LA Korean Festival, as well as performing the finale of the New York’s “2025 Korean Parade & Festival.” Concerts in the United States are presented in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Centers as part of “Touring K-Arts” project sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange.

Sang-ho said in a press release, “Through this tour, we hope to not only showcase the high level of young Korean artists, but also serve as a platform for young artists to communicate with international audiences and promote the future of Korean opera.”
