The Klaipėda Festival announces 2026 season. Here’s a look at the vocal performances.

Haydn’s “The Creation” features soloists Almas Švilpa, Rita Petrauskaitė, Giedrius Gečys, Vilius Trakys, and Judita Butkytė, with the KVMT Symphony Orchestra, the theatre’s mixed choir and the State Choir Vilnius.mThe oratorio will be performed in German, with Lithuanian and English surtitles.

Performance Dates: Aug. 13 & 14, 2026

KVMT Chief Conductor Tomas Ambrozaitis leads the KVMT Symphony Orchestra with the choir Aukuras of the Klaipėda Concert Hall, the chamber choir Cantare of Klaipėda Culture Centre Žvejų Rūmai, the choir Kristalė of Kretinga Culture Centre, and the Palanga Chamber Choir in the “Festival Finale: Symphonic Adiemus Uniting the Community.”
