By Nicolas Quiroga

Ian Page and the Mozartists will perform a live concert at Cadogan Hall in London on July 8, 2021.

The showcase will feature mezzo-soprano Kitty Whately, who will perform “Non so se il mio peccato” from Myslivecek “Adamo ed Eva” and  “E non degg’io seguirla… Lungi da te” from Salieri’s “Armida.”

Whately is a Kathleen Ferrier Award winner, who has performed with the ensemble since 2010. She has also made appearances with such companies as L’Opera National de Lorraine, Wigmore Hall, Oxford Lieder Festival, and English Touring Opera, among others.

Joining Whately on the program will be harpsichord player Steven Devine who will take on a concerto by CPE Bach. There will also be an unauthenticated symphony attributed to Mozart when he was 15-years-old as well as Haydn’s Symphony No. 44 in E minor.

“I am delighted to be back on stage, exactly six months after our last concert, to resume our Mozart 250 series and with such wonderful artists for this 1771 repertoire. It is really very exciting,” said Ian Page, Director and Artistic Director of The Mozartists in a press release.
