Kaufmann Center in Kansas City Lifts COVID-19 Restrictions

As of April 4, 2022, the Kauffman Center in Kansas City has altered its COVID-19 restrictions.

The organization noted that it is no longer requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend performances by the Kansas City Symphony concerts. Moreover, unless the artist requires the use of face masks, audiences will no longer have to wear masks. That said, the organization encourages all attendees to continue using it.

The Kauffman Center noted that it will remain vigilant in monitoring the health situation of and will take the necessary precautions.

Since the end of March, authorities in Kansas City, Missouri have reported a total of 72 new COVID-19 cases. The city reached its peak of COVID cases in January 2022, averaging over 800 new cases per day at one point.
