The Kathleen Ferrier Competition has announced its finalists.

The competition, which will take place on Friday, April 22, 22022 in Wigmore Hall, will see each singer perform alongside a pianist.

The finalists are soprano Elena Zamudio and pianist Bradley Wood, bass-baritone Charles Cunliffe and pianist Francesca Orlando, mezzo-soprano Emma Roberts and pianist Lucy Colquhoun, soprano Charlotte Bowden and pianist Roelof Temmingh, baritone Joël Terrin and pianist Cole Knutson, and mezzo-soprano Esme Bronwen-Smith and pianist Avishka Edirisinghe.

The singers will be judged by jury members Sir Brian McMaster (Chair), Dame Josephine Barstow, Dame Anne Evans, Ben Johnson, and Sholto Kynoch.
