The Winchester Chamber Music Festival has announced its 2024 slate.

Here is a rundown of the vocal highlights on offer.

The Opening Concert will feature soprano Katharine Dain as she takes on “Three Songs” by Amy Beach. The performance also features the Festival String Quartet and Gould Piano Trio, interpreting works by Hellawell, Haydn, and Ravel.

There is also a late night performance featuring music by Wagner, Hellawell, Berio, and Arensky featuring soprano Katharina Dain, among others.

The Festival Gala Concert Inner World will feature Mozart’s “Exsultate Jubilate” for Soprano and strings as well as other works by Barber, Mozart, Pärt, Vine, and Tchaikovsky. The program features the Festival String Orchestra under David Adams and the Aestus Quartet, Katharine Dain, Max Baillie, and Kate Gould.

The next day features a concert showcasing vocal and chamber works by Fanny Hensel-Mendelssohn, Fauré, Piers, and Debussy. Katharine Dain is joined by the Aestus Quartet, Festival String Quartet, Gould Piano Trio, Simone van der Giessen, and Marianne Schofield.
