Kate Royal Awarded Fellowship at Guildhall School

Soprano Kate Royal has been awarded a Fellowship of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the UK. Royal is an alumnus of the prestigious institution, where she graduated in 2003.
The British soprano is well known for performing at the Glyndebourne Festival, English National Opera, Teatro Real, and Metropolitan Opera. She has also sung at the Royal Opera House and alongside such prestigious orchestras as Berlin Philharmonic, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and the Rotterdam Philharmonic.
The soprano has also performed alongside such noted conductors as Charles Mackerras, Simon Rattle, and Michael Christie.
Royal is a winner of the prestigious National Opera Studio, a recipient of the Kathleen Ferrier Award and the Royal Philharmonic Society Young Artist Award. She is an exclusive artist of EMI Classics.
