Kate Aldrich & Michelle DeYoung Lead Opera Colorado’s 2020-21 Season

Opera Colorado has announced its 2020-21 season featuring three productions and a number of international stars.

Paul Moravec and Mark Campbell’s “The Shining” opens the season in a production by Eric Simonson. Edward Parks, Kelly Kaduce, Arthur Woodley, Vale Rideout, Joseph Gaines, and Troy Cook lead the cast with Ari Pelto conducting.

Performance Dates: Nov. 7-15, 2020

Mascagni’s “Cavalleria Rusticana” is set to star Michelle DeYoung, Roberto de Biasio, Kira Dills-Desurra, Catherine Cook, and Malcolm Mackenzie. Ari Pelto conducts David Lefkowich’s production.

Performance Dates: Feb. 20-28, 2021

Kate Aldrich stars in the title role of “Carmen” alongside Bruce Sledge, Susannah Biller, and Nmon Ford. Ari Pelto conducts the production by Keturah Stickann.

Performance Dates: May 1-15, 2021
