Kang Wang, Nicholas Phan, Hadleigh Adams & Nicole Cabell Lead Seattle Symphony’s 2022-23 Season

The Seattle Symphony has announced its 2022-23 season featuring several international performers.

Here is a look at the vocal performance.

Enrique Lopez-Yañez conducts José Sibaja and Mónica Ábrego in a program of Latin American music.

Performance Dates: Oct. 14 & 16, 2022

Tan Dun conducts his piece “Buddha Passion” with Sen Guo, Huiling Zhu, Kang Wang, Yupeng Wang, Batubagen, and Chen Yining.

Performance Dates: Nov. 10 & 12, 2022

Miina-Liisa Värelä and Aziz Shokhakimov team up for a program of Ravel, Riminsky-Korsakov, and Ippolitov-Ivanov.

Performance Dates: Nov. 17-19, 2022

Nicole Cabell, Sara Couden, Steven Soph, and Adam Lau sing Handel’s Messiah with Sofi Jeannin conducting.

Performance Date: Dec. 16, 17, 18, 2022

David Danzmayr conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with soloists Nicholas Phan, Laura Strickling, Hadleigh Adams, and Mary Phillips.

Performance Dates: Dec. 28-31, 2022

Xian Zhang conducts Orff, Rossini, and Quigang Chen with soloists Hugh Russell.

Performance Dates: March 30-April 2, 2023

Marin Alsop conducts Bernstein’s Songfest with J’nai Bridges, Tracy Cantin, Sarah Larsen, and Kevin Deas. The program also includes music by Prokofiev.

Performance Dates: June 15 & 17, 2023

Osmo Vänskä conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 with Mané Galoyan and Jennifer Johnson Cano.

Performance Dates: June 22 & 23, 2023
