Julia Bullock to Headline Lincoln Center Presents’ February Slate

GRAMMY award-winning soprano Julia Bullock is set to perform on the Lincoln Center’s February roster.
The Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series presents “History’s Persistent Voice,” a multimedia ethnographic anthology envisioned by curated Bullock. The program focuses on the influence of pre-Emancipation voices, poetry, and musical traditions across generations, while centering on the multifaceted identities of the Black American experience.
Bullock performs newly commissioned compositions by esteemed American women of color such as Jessie Montgomery, Tania León, Allison Loggins-Hull, Carolyn Yarnell, and Pamela Z. Christian Reif conducts the New Haven Symphony Orchestra.
Additional collaborators include Tony Award-winning designer and immersive visual artist Hana S. Kim, ArKtype, Thomas O. Kriegsmann, and the Yale Schwarzman Center.
The concert takes place on Feb. 11, at 7:30 pm, in Alice Tully Hall. This is a Choose-What-You-Pay event.
