Julia Bullock, Chen Reiss & Will Liverman Lead National Symphony Orchestra’s 2022-23 Season

The National Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2022-23 season featuring an array of soloists.

Here is a look at the vocal performances for next season.

Leonard Bernstein’s MASS will open the season with James Gaffigan conducting, Alison Moritz directing, and Will Liverman starring.

Performance Dates: Sept. 15-18, 2022

David Robertson conducts Julia Bullock in music by Mackey, Barber, and Bernstein.

Performance Dates: Dec. 1-3, 2022

George Frideric Händel’s “Messiah” will be performed by Liv Redpath, Hannah Ludwig, John Matthew Myers, and Neal Davies. Fabio Biondi conducts.

Performance Dates: Dec 15-18, 2022

Christoph Eschenbach conducts Chen Reiss in a Mozart and Brahms program.

Performance Dates: Feb. 23-25, 2023

Gianandrea Noseda conducts J’Nai Bridges in a program of music by Grieg, Luciano Berio, Carlos Simon, and Tchaikovsky.

Performance Dates: April 21-23, 2023

Gianandrea Noseda leads Camilla Tilling, Kelley O’Connor, Issachah Savage, and Hanno Müller-Brachmann in a program that includes Ludwig van Beethoven’s Prometheus – Overture, George Walker’s Sinfonia No. 3, and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.

Performance Dates: June 1-3, 2023
