The Vienna State Opera has announced that it will be present 15 live concert performances throughout June.

In keeping with social distancing protocols, the concerts will be for a maximum of 100 audience members. All of the performances will be live-streamed via the company’s official platform (available also on Apple TV, Amazon Fire, all mobile devices, and many SmartTVs).

The concert schedule will kick with a Liederabend starring Günther Groissböck and pianist Alexandra Goloubitskaia.

Members of the Vienna State Opera will perform music by Mozart.

Members of the Wiener Philharmonic will perform chamber music.

Performance Date: June 10, 2020

Tomasz Konieczny will present a Liederabend with pianist Lech Napierala.

Members of the Vienna State Opera will perform Bel Canto pieces.

 Soprano Camila Nylund and pianist Helmut Deutsch will perform a Liederabend.

Members of the Vienna State Opera will perform music from the French repertory.

Tenor Michael Schade and pianist Jendrik Springer will perform a Liederabend.

Members of the Vienna State Opera will perform music from the German repertory.

Tenor Juan Diego Flórez and pianist Cécile Restier will perform a Liederabend.

The series will draw to a close with a Gala Concert of the Young Ensemble starring soloists and orchestra members of the Vienna State Opera, including.

All concerts will start at 7:30 p.m. without intermission and will be broadcast live via the company’s official website. The gala showcase will commence at 7 p.m. and will feature one intermission.
