Juan Diego Flórez, Asmik Grigorian, Lucy Crowe, Jacquelyn Wagner, Fleur Barron Lead Hong Kong Philharmonic’s 2026-27 Season

The Hong Kong Philharmonic has announced its 2026-27 season. Here are the vocal performances.

Michele Spotti conducts Juan Diego Flórez’s gala performance.

Performance Dates: Oct. 22, 2026 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall & Oct. 24, 2026 Guangzhou Xinghai Concert Hall


Tarmo Peltokoski conducts Mahler’s Symphony No.8 with Jacquelyn Wagner, Chen Reiss, Louise Kwong, Catriona Morison, Sasha Cooke, Tuomas Katajala, Rinalds Kandalincevs, and Shenyang. 

Performance Dates: Nov. 7 & 8, 2026 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall


Emmanuel Tjeknavorian conducts the New year’s Concert with Fleur Barron featuring works by Falla, Haydn, Ravel and Strauss II.

Performance Dates: Dec. 29 & 30, 2026 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall

Gustavo Dudamel conducts the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela in Beethoven’s “Fidelio.”

Performance Dates: Feb. 11, 2027. 14 & 15, 2027 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall


Gustavo Dudamel conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.

Performance Dates: Feb. 13, 2027 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall


James Sherlock conducts the finale to Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 and “Missa Solemnis” with Lucy Crowe, Jess Dandy, Thomas Atkins, and William Thomas.

Performance Dates: March 6 & 7, 2027 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall


Tarmo Peltokoski  conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 and Wagner’s “Tristan und Isolde” prelude. Louise Kwong and Wiebke Lehmkuhl are the soloists. 

Performance Dates: April 2 & 3, 2027 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall & April 8 & 9, 2027 at the Beijing National Centre for the Performing Arts
