Joyce DiDonato, Sonya Yoncheva, Angel Blue & Julian Prégardien Lead Festival Perelada’s 2025 Season

The Festival Perelada has announced its 2025 season.

Joyce DiDonato and Craig Terry will perform in recital.

Performance Date: July 3, 2025


Genius Loci is a unique stage performance directed by Rafael R. Villalobos. The production star countertenor Xavier Sabata and will feature music from Purcell to contemporary.

Performance Date: July 5, 2025


Julian and Christoph Prégardien will perform “In Paradisum” featuring music by Schubert and Liszt. Pianist Saskia Giorgini and narrator and actress Alba Pujol will join them.

Performance Date: July 6, 2025


L’Opera (forse), by Italian composer Francesco Filidei will feature  six percussionists and Agnès Busquets as the narrator.

Performance Date: July 9, 2025


Georg Friedrich Händel’s “Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno” will be conducted by William Christie. The cast will include Julie Roset, James Way, Rebecca Leggett, and Jasmine White.

Performance Date: July 12, 2025


Angel Blue and Bryan Wagorn will perform a recital of music by Verdi, Cilea, Puccini, Charpentier, Kalman, Weill, Gershwin, Luna, and Chapi.

Performance Date: July 13, 2025


Montserrat Sero, Pau Codina, and Marc Heredia pay tribute to the friendship between cellist Pau Casals and soprano Conxita Badia. The program includes music by Schubert, Strauss, Granados, Casals, and Badia, among others.

Performance Date: July 17, 2025


Sonya Yoncheva closes the season with a recital entitled “George.” She will be joined by Ekaterine Buachidze, Olga Zado, and Sara Balasch. The repertoire includes Delibes, Chopin, Offenbach, Leoncavallo, Tosti, and Viardot, among others.

Performance Date: July 18, 2025
